Trumpets!

My writer was helping to take down the family Christmas tree when I noticed this ornament sitting on her couch.  So I decided that I really wanted to try to play it.  I got to it and tried blowing into the mouthpiece before my writer was able to stop me.

When she noticed what I was trying to do, she started laughing at me, and I stopped, staring at her.  She then told me it was just an ornament and that I couldn’t actually play it.  She also added that I do look very stylish with a trumpet in my fin.

Also, my writer told me that she had a trumpet she would let me play with.  It’d be too big for me, but at least I’d get a chance to try to make a sound off of it.

Also, on a side note, Happy Martin Luther King Day!  Remember, it’s a day on, not a day off!
